Gre za tipično zahodnjaško metropolo, ki so ga zadnja leta krize pahnila v kremplje vse bolj živahnega kriminalnega podzemlja. V mestu se prepleta nelegalen posel številnih tolp, v zgodbi pa se približamo trem posebnežem med njimi: Franklinu, bivšemu surovemu mafijcu, Michaelu, prekajenemu kaznjencu in Trevorju, nasilnemu manijaku, ki ga žene sla po drogi. Rapidly running out of options, the crew risks everything in a series of bolt and dangerous heists that could set them up for the long haul.
